CoveredThis is a covers album with a twist! Ten tracks recorded with a great band- Chris Clemo on drums, Chris Fordham on bass and Jamie Jones on lead guitar. We recorded the album over two days in August 2007.We took a bunch of songs by The Beatles, Bee Gees, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Cash, The Bangles, James Taylor, Alison Kraus, Trent Reznor, Tom Rush and Bob Dylan and came up with an amazingly eclectic album. You get a Johnny Cash skiffle medley, psychedelic Bangles, punk rock Beatles, southern fried James Taylor and 70s disco Dylan!. I've recorded new arrangements of old songs before, notably on "The Broken" album where we took Matt Redman and Delerious songs and gave them a shot of hi energy rock. I also recorded three classic hymns on other albums.
